Summer Library Assistant 2024

35 hours a week for 8 weeks, $21.50/hour
Tuesday to Saturday, June 18 to August 9, 2024

The Gibsons & District Public Library is seeking a creative and responsible leader to help deliver our summer programs for kids and teens. The assistant will work with the Child & Youth ServicesCoordinator to help plan, administer and deliver the Summer Reading Program, work
on specialized library projects related to youth, as well as other special events and
duties.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be experienced and enjoy working with children and youth.
Should be: creative, out-going, organized, personable, and able to collaborate with
others and also work well independently, with strong leadership and communication
skills. Must be a student, no more than 30 years of age.
