This year, in lieu of borrowing seed from the Gibsons Seed Sharing Library interactive Seed Cabinet, members will receive a seed list via email. Browse the list and note the common name of the seeds you want to grow in your garden for seed.  Then email Leonie Croy (leoniecroy@gmail.com)  with your choice(s). She will book you in to a one-on-one Seed Clinic time slot.

Three clinics will be held in the library vestibule at the end of February. The Seed Clinics will also give you the opportunity to ask the seed library coordinators questions, chat about seed saving and receive seed saving information. Alternatively, we can arrange for another pick-up site.

Seed withdrawals will be on a “first come – first serve” basis. Visit the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective website www.sunseeds.ca for more details. Thank you to the seed savers who have deposited seed in our Seed Drop-off box; you can still return seed there anytime the Gibsons Library is open.

The Gibsons Seed Sharing Library is open to all residents of the Sunshine Coast and is managed by Rhonda Jackman and Leonie Croy, members of the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective.
