Mobile Printing

With our mobile printing service, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library’s printer from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to pick up your document. There are different ways you can do this.

By email:

  • Email from any device directly to the library’s print system at gibsons@printspots.com.
  • Send your print job as an attachment.
  • Pick up and pay for your print job from the library.

Through our website:

Begin by visiting http://www.printeron.net/gibsons/public-library

  • Enter your email address.
  • Browse your computer files to select the document you wish to print.  You may also enter the URL of a web page you want printed.
  • Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number). The reference number is used to uniquely identify your print jobs upon pick up at the library.
  • Come to the library circulation desk with your email address and reference number within 72 hours to have your print job released and printed.
  • Pay for your print job.

Using an app on your tablet or smartphone:

  • Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps, install and launch the PrinterOn App.
  • Click “No printer selected”.
  • Click “Search”. Search for Gibsons and District Public Library and save.
  • To print:
    • Documents: when viewing the document, click in the upper right corner and upload the document to the PrinterOn App.
    • Photos from your phone: open the app, click on “photo” and select a photo to print.
    • Select the printer and click the print icon.
    • Enter an email address and click on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”).
  • Pick up and pay for your print job from the library.

Printing is 25 cents per page for black and white. Colour is not currently available via mobile printing.
