The Gibsons & District Public Library is proud to lend out STEAM kits. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. From the low to high tech these kits support STEAM literacy for children aged 3 and up. Search the catalogue for ‘STEAM kits’ to get a complete list of our offerings. Cubelets STEAM Kit

You don’t need to know how to code or wire to construct robots with Cubelets. Snap the blocks together and the magnetic faces do the rest. Every unique arrangement is a new robot with new behaviors. Telescope STEAM Kit

Learn more about the natural world as you explore the night skies. This kit includes a tabletop dobsonian telescope and a stargazing guidebook. The telescope is portable and light weight (14 lbs) but comes in a large bin. When you check this telescope out be prepared to take home a large storage bin.

Anatomical Model STEAM Kit
