What is the Teen Advisory Group?

Want to make the library more teen-friendly? Have an idea for an event for teens? Share your ideas with the Teen Advisory Group! Have fun and gain community service hours all at the same time.

What does TAG do?

  • Advise the librarian on programs and services
  • Develop and lead teen programs
  • Meet once a month at the library from September – June
  • Promote the library as a great place to be
  • Suggest items for the library’s teen collections

What qualifications do I need to be in the Teen Advisory Group?

  • 13-18 years of age living between Port Mellon and Roberts Creek
  • Willing to share ideas in a group
  • Willing to think about issues in your community

Where does TAG meet?

Once a month after school at the Gibsons & District Public Library. First meeting Tuesday September 28th 3:30 – 4:30pm.
